Call for Support for Underrepresented Groups and Geographical Areas

Application form

The 8th IEEE-RAS International Conference on Soft Robotics (RoboSoft 2025) centers on “Interdisciplinarity and Widening Horizons” – robosoft2025.org.

Embracing the mission of this year the Organising Committee is glad to extend an invitation to all those interested in participating in Robosoft2025 with limited access to funding.

We plan to offer support in the following form:

  • Accommodation for free or at a reduced price
  • Conference for free or at a reduced price
  • Providing childcare facilities

Categories eligible for support include:

  • early career scientists and students who could not attend RoboSoft if not supported by this grant 
  • scientists from underrepresented regions hence excluding the top 10 regions in Soft Robotics per participant (United States, China, Japan, United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Canada)
  • members of under-represented communities

We will let you know if you have been selected for support around the end of January.

Note:

  • IEEE RAS will also support approximately one IEEE RAS author per paper.
  • Whether you are already part of the Soft Robotics community or not, we strongly encourage you to join this vibrant environment and to contribute with your research.
